For reasons I don't understand the Billboard ate some of this message. It seems ok now but here is a copy
of the original message and Eric and My replies.
Hi, guys!

I have tried your program... Well, I different feelings. Everything seems fine, but when I tried
to adapt PalView-Made pages for my site :((( I have a white-on-blue design and I couldn't
change the font color!! I had to (sorry) patch the palview.exe to archieve this! So, somehow,
it doesn't seem to be very configurable. Secondly, and this might be an suggestion for the
v2: the pages are far too big than needed! They have about 7 Kb of the same JavaScript
text! It might have been better to place it in a separate file. Anyway, I like the program, even
if I have to have a zillion of scripts to help me out ;))

The next version will offer some support of css (Cascading Style Sheets) and thus make it
possible to change font colour the easy way.

Personally I know absolutely nothing about JavaScript, but I do know that Andrew during the
programming phase was very concerned about size and has done what he can to minimize
the script's size, so if you can pinpoint any possible improvements we'll be most grateful.
However I have a feeling that this more technical side is best handled by Andrew himself!

I'm a little confused by this criticism of the code size!

I have looked at the pages I generate for Notzai's game of the day feature and they are all
between 15k and 18k depending on the length of the game. For that you have a fully working
linked display of the game.

By any standards this is extremely compact code. Putting the code in a seperate file
changes nothing as the code must still be loaded. Webmasters who load the code from a
seperate file do so in order to **hide their javascript** not because it's faster that way.

I obviousely agree though that if anybody knows how to make it smaller we are interested.
I'm sceptical though.
