Item 1: Sounds smart, but the script stuff is beyond me, I'm afraid. Never learnt much more than virgin html. Item 2: The original ini and css files created by PalMate are saved in a PalMate subdirectory called "resource". Together they make up "a style" or layout. The css is copied to the destination you choose. So once you have made a design to your liking, there's no need to run PalMate. Instead you can execute Palview quickly from the command line with a pointer to the ini file. Something like this: C:\palview3\palview3.exe C:\pgnfiles\mypgn.pgn C:\programs\palmate\resource\frames.ini Eric
