I will add your suggestion to the 'To Do' list. It probably would not be very difficult to do what you want for comments following the actual moves of the game. But I don't think that I would use it for comments following variation moves. The reason is that variation moves can often appear intermixed with text, as in the following example:

1. e4 e5
({Usually Kaparov would play his beloved Sicilian Defense} 1... c5 {but too often of late players have opted for the closed game with} 2. Nc3 {which Kasparov does not like.})

So in the above example I would likely signal a comment (or variation) is 'attached' to the main move 1... e5, but wouldn't bother with the variation moves such as 2. Nc3.

Does that sound about right to you?
