This 'fix' will also cause all background imagery, colors, shadig etc on the page to print as well. Though it will print the board, it is not a suitable answer in my mind. Unlike most background, which does not contin content or provide additional information, a chess boad gives context and meaning to the pieces. In short, the board is an intrinsic part of the content of the page. A person viewing a page should be able to print the content, without the background stuff (noise), This is why the default setting if IExplorer is to have this field turned off. Until this functionality is added to PalView, I will instruct the users of my pages to flip the switch, when printing. The tool is still the best thing I have seen to generate web pages with chess games, and will continue to use it. James Garner
